Live Up To The Hype?
As a male of 27, I consider myself like majority of males to have quite a basic skincare routine. Having considered purchasing the Clarisonic for sometime (around a year) though being put off by the high price tag. Now giving into the hype as I have personally read flawless testimonies backing the claims made by the company. So I decided to cave in.. and see if it really is all that....and see for myself.... expect brutal honesty if needed.
Whilst using the Clarisonic, I have come across both its positive/negative points from my own user experience. These are entirely my own I'm not staying you may have the same experience as this is completely individual to ones own opinion.
The Pro:

* Feels lightweight and robust in the hand and easily manoeuvred around reaching all areas of the face.
* Fully waterproof. This is particularly useful for me as I primarily cleanse whilst showering without the added fear of electrocution.
* The brushes are soft and flexible meaning they don't cause irrigation to my skin after use.
* The unit itself is actually pretty small, smaller than what I actually thought. Though again this is of preference to me as this takes up no more room than a standard cup.
* The biggest positive for me, the bristles are able to reach the root of my stubble giving me the feel of a thorough cleanse that I feel my fingers simply cannot do. This is where a lot of my current issues lay. So this shall be interesting to see the changes.
The Middle:

* I'd highly recommend not using an overly foaming cleanser as this is only increased furthermore with the use of this device. Ultimately product and water can splash around getting into the eyes causing discomfort. Since trying this method I have now changed to an oil based cleanser without this issue.
* The brushes that require periodic change (3 months) are quite expensive to purchase at around £19-22 per replacement. So this unit is definitely an investment to your skin.
The Con:

I do prefer to include negatives or improvements needed in my reviews, to keep it fairly balanced. I'm a strong believer that every product has them, as each customer has different needs and wants:
* As much as I have enjoyed using this unit I do still feel the full asking price is ridiculous! Thankfully as mentioned I managed to get this device during a Sale though still £130 (at the time of this review).
* The Clarisonic did make me skin feel extremely clean and free from daily build up, but a little on the dry/tight side so personally I'd recommend if you have combination skin like myself I'd suggest applying a lightweight moisturising post using the unit to counteract this effect. This could potentially be as my skin isn't accustomed. Though may very well in time.
Bottom-Line

Overall?, As mentioned this device is definitely an investment to your skin in terms of price and maintenance. But if money isn't an issue and you take cleansing seriously then this may very well be the product for you.
Hopefully you have found this review somewhat helpful and informative whether or not this product is worthy of purchasing. I've tried my upmost to include if I was to repurchase this item again anything I'd personally like to know prior.

Amazing product - works wonders!
Before my partner prompted me to buy this, I didn't have a 'skin routine' per se and didn't think I needed this kind of product. But since buying it, my skin has never felt cleaner and healthier! Now I can't imagine not using it in a morning! Even my family have told me they can notice the difference to my skin!!
The timer, the USB charger and the easy-to-change brush heads just make this the perfect cleansing product! A real must-buy!!

Amazing product. My skin has never felt healthier.
I have been using the alpha fit device for a few weeks now and I can't believe the results that I have seen. At first I was sceptical of the price compared to the other clarisonic models, but just a few weeks of use I would say it's worth every penny. I particularly like this product as I have oily skin and am prone to spots, but since using the alpha fit I have noticed the amount of spots reduce considerably. I now use the alpha fit every day as part of my skincare routine and would recommend anyone to try this product as they wont be disappointed. I bought one for my mother for her birthday and she absolutely loves it also, and like me a day doesn't go by where she doesn't use it. You will never truly understand how clear and clean your skin will be until you invest in a clarisonic.

Great Facial Cleanser
I recently purchased the hot pink special edition Mia 2 and in about a week of use, I've noticed a difference in my skin. I have acne-prone skin and use my Mia 2 with my Shea Moisture African Black Soap bar. My face feels softer and smoother. I like that this device makes it so easy to clean my face effectively, but much more quickly than manual hand cleansing.

A Skin Miracle
I love my new Mia 2 (and my skin does too). I use it with my Noxema Daily Deep Pore Cleanser. These two things combined on my face have worked magic. This device is also the best for removing stubborn waterproof makeup. I love this device and use it everyday.

clarisonic is life changing!
I am 63 years young and have been using Clarisonic Mia for about 2 years. It broke recently when it fell from a high shower shelf on a marble floor. I purchased a Mia2 and love it as well. Since using Mia, I have noticed a drastic change in my skin. I am complimented daily and asked what my secret is. I tell them clarisonic!

How to Replace Your Brush Head
For best results, replace your brush head every 3 months.
- To remove the brush head:
1. Grip the brush head firmly, then push and twist it counter-clockwise.
2. Pull the brush head away from the handle. - To attach the brush head:
Push down and twist the head clockwise until it snaps into place.
Tip: Use the brush head cap to easily remove and attach the brush head with a simple twist.
